Six volumes, 60 lessons, written and published by him. He first gave them as a public course from 1826. Lesson 1 states the law of three states, lesson 2 classifies the sciences. Lessons 46 to 60 found sociology. We have lessons 1, 2, 46 and 47 (proofread text), 48 to 51 (OCR, not proofread). The word "sociology" is coined in lesson 47.

Positivist Catechism essential

Written and published by him. A dialogue in eleven conversations between a Woman and a Priest of Humanity: the Priest speaks for Comte, the Woman's questions are a literary device. Our text is a noisy OCR: we quote only clean sentences.
