Misconceptions

False
Aristotle wrote his books as we read them.

His published works are lost. We mostly read lecture notes, gathered and titled by Andronicus of Rhodes about three centuries later.

Nuanced
Aristotle's god is the God of the Bible.

His first mover does not create the world, which is eternal, nor care for it: it moves "as being loved". Aquinas and Averroes later adapted it to their faith.
